Our "Ease-Secureฎ" door latch system integrates a Flush-mounted latching mechanism which opens with a Tapered square Key. The "Push-To-Close" door latch allows the door to be securely locked simply by pushing it closed. The Key is attached to the outside of the enclosure, convenient for the client to use and impossible for bears to manipulate.
The large Inside Child Safety Door Release Handle, incorporated into the latch mechanism, enables the door to be opened easily and quickly from the inside. This feature prevents a child from ever becoming accidentally entrapped inside the enclosure.
The BearGuard's interior and exterior surfaces are Powder Coated with a Polyester finish to meet challenging outdoor environments. Powder Coating is the ultimate durable coating, Environmentally-Friendly and maintenance-free, ensuring an attractive appearance for many years.
For ventilation, we have three rows of Louvers in the rear panel and slotted vents along the edge of the floor pan to promote air flow.
The Heavy-Duty 36-inch long steel Pedestal Mounting Stand allows the enclosure to be mounted on any incline 18 inches above ground level and anchored in concrete below ground. The pedestal stand has two welded cross members to secure the enclosure "Rock Solid" once mounted. Mounting hardware is included with each enclosure.
