The Ultimate Enclosure Designs

• BearGuard enclosures are Tested, Approved and Certified Grizzly Bear Resistant by the "Living with Wild Life Foundation" with testing done at the Grizzly & Wolf Exhibition Center located near West Yellowstone. This site is the official testing agency for certifying bear-proof enclosures for residential use and for use by our National Parks and Forestry Service.

• Our enclosures are manufactured with 12- & 14-gauge GalXC™ steel chosen for its superior protection against rusting. The panels are cut and formed using robotic machinery to maintain precise tolerances. The panels are riveted together for alignment and then welded on the interior for additional strength and an attractive exterior appearance.

• The Dormer-Gable Roof design sheds water and snow away from the front of the enclosure, unlike top-loading enclosures which accumulate snow build-up over the doors and at times freeze the doors closed.

• The Classic Model-330 enclosure holds Three rectangular 30-Gallon trash cans or Two larger 32-Gallon trash cans with additional space inside for recycling bags.

• The Traditional Model-230 enclosure holds Two rectangular 30-Gallon trash cans or One 32-Gallon can plus One 30-Gallon can with additional recycling space inside.

• The BearGuard is the ONLY enclosure on the market with our UNIQUE Reversible Hinged Door design. This feature offers greater flexibility for mounting the enclosure on either side of the driveway, allowing the client to choose in which direction the door will open. The large front-opening door permits easy loading and unloading of the trash cans.

• The Flush-Mounted, Reinforced Door has a 1.5-inch return edge around the perimeter with welded corners for added rigidity. During the manufacturing process, extremely tight tolerances are maintained between the door and frame to prevent bears from gaining a claw hold anywhere around the edges of the door.
